Who do you admire most? My dad. Brilliant. Creative. Determined. Accomplished. Humble. Big shoes to fill. I can only hope to be half the man.

Dog, cat or other pet? I like all creatures, but I’m definitely a dog person. Gold Retrievers in particular.

Childhood nickname(s): Oh so many to choose from. Nooseman, and Darleen (don’t ask) are two that come to mind.

Least favorite subject in high school? Math, can’t believe I got through it.

Dream vacation? Trekking in Nepal.

What do you like to do on your time off? Remodeling. Swinging hammers, cutting wood, laying tile. It’s all a good change of pace from staring at a computer all week.

Areas of expertise that you apply routinely at Sandcastle? Windows Server Management, keeping things secure and up to date. Web Programming using ASP.NET C#, VB.NET, MSSQL, JavaScript and CSS. Various platforms including Umbraco, nopCommerce and AbleCommerce.

Favorite movies? "Jurassic Park" and almost any halfway decent sci-fi movie. "Sound of Music" and "Mary Poppins".

Dog, cat or other pet? Dog

One food you would not give up? Pepperoni Pizza!

Do you play a musical instrument? Yes, the saxophone and bass guitar.

What do you like to do on your time off? Socialize with friends (dinner, movies, karaoke) and work on my house.

Dream vacation? A few month trekking around Europe.

Favorite superhero? The Hulk and Juggernaut (villain).

If you could only watch one TV channel, what would it be? Comedy Central

Strangest thing you’ve ever eaten? Jack Fruit. Very tasty but almost alien in the way it is put together.

Areas of expertise that you apply routinely at Sandcastle? Front end build work involving HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Back end development using ASP.NET C# and MSSQL. AbleCommerce Development.

Favorite TV Shows? "Top Gear" (UK), "Game of Thrones", "Sherlock", "Rick and Morty". Also, nature documentaries, especially ones featuring David Attenborough.

Dog, cat or other pet? I have a cat named Kiara, a rabbit named Merida, and some small fish.

One food you would not give up? There isn’t a particular dish I couldn’t give up if I had to, but I could never stop eating cheese.

Do you play a musical instrument? If not, what instrument would you play if you could? I’m currently trying to learn to play the Guitar. This is the third time I’ve tried to learn, and hoping I can stick with it...

What do you like to do on your time off? Hang out with friends, play disc golf, or play some video games.

Schools attended? Easton School (1st grade through 12th) and Central Washington University

Least favorite subject in high school? English

Dream vacation? A trip to Europe to visit multiple countries and see a lot of historical sites.

Earliest memory? Probably when I stuck a pair of tweezers into a power outlet and made a lot of sparks. I think I was around 3.

Last (or best) book read? Currently reading "A Storm of Swords" from the Song of Ice and Fire series.

Favorite superhero? Probably Wolverine, but maybe Deadpool after seeing the new movie

If you could only watch one TV channel, what would it be? The old Discovery Channel or TLC, before they started playing mostly reality TV shows. Now I just watch Netflix and Hulu, and don’t even have cable or an antenna.
